General Feedback
Do you have an idea or suggestion based on your experience with Windows Server? We would love to hear it! Please take a few minutes to submit your idea in the one of the forums available on the right or vote up an idea submitted by another Windows Server customer. All of the feedback you share in these forums is monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft engineering teams responsible for building Windows Server. Suggestions can apply to both released and Technical Preview versions of Windows Server.
Important:
1. Remote Desktop Services (RDS)-related feedback must be provided in their UV site: https://remotedesktop.uservoice.com/forums/266795-remote-desktop-services-for-enterprises
2. Requests for feature changes around the end-user experience, such as desktop shell, start menu, individual consumer apps, etc. must be provided through the Windows 10 Feedback Hub tool. We have no ownership of these types of non-Windows Server components.
3. This forum (General Feedback) is used for any broad feedback related to Windows Server. Feedback for specific areas like Storage, Networking, Virtualization, Nano Server, etc., should be provided in one of the forums available on the right. It is not for bug filings. Windows Desktop client list of connections instead of icons
In the Windows Desktop client (Remote Desktop for WVD), there appears to be a limit of 15 characters in a connection name before it gets truncated and ... is added. This causes names to be indistinguishable if they are long, and a primary descriptor is at the end. For example:
CompanyName-Department-Prod-EastUS
CompanyName-Department-Prod-WestUS
CompanyName-Department-Prod-NorEuro
CompanyName-Department-Dev-SouthEast
etc...The only way to see the available connections is by icon. Add functionality in the Windows Desktop client for list view, and functionality to configure a default.

import list of machines into remote desktop (windows store)
In remote desktop connection manager you were able to import a list of servers to use. I would love to see that feature added to the remote desktop store app.

openssh for windows support socket multiplex (controlMaster option)
For a server that enters a dynamic password to log in, it is really annoying to enter a password every time. It is important to support multiplex sockets like linux ssh.

Remote Desktop client list view
The list view option in Remote Desktop client for WVD was a helpful improvement.
Can the sort be changed to down the columns instead of across the columns?

The current auditing of LAPS password access events are not fine-grained
The current auditing of LAPS password access events are not fine-grained and it becomes very difficult for an administrator to separate LAPS events with other population of 4662 which are huge in number. May be Microsoft can distinguish the LAPS password access event.

Enstella top EDB Recovery application
An effective EDB to PST file conversion tool!
This tool is an Exchange mailbox recovery software solution by Enstella Systems that can be used as an EDB to PST converter, as it efficiently exports Exchange mailboxes from Exchange database (EDB) files to Outlook PST files after repairing the damaged EDB. It exports emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, journals, notes, and appointments. Here are some of its benefits:
• Repairs damaged Private and Public Folders (Priv.edb, Pub.edb) and STM files of the Exchange Server of any size, small or large
• Provides a preview of all data items stored in the users’…1 vote -
