To improve Windows Server I suggest you ...

Upgrade a server running core to the next version. Example 1709 to 1803

Please post the methods to upgrade Short Term Service Branch Servers. If we are going to be living with these servers for less then 18 months we need to understand the methods for upgrades.

        When there is no update path as for windows 10, the semiannual releases are IMO really only worth using as a foundation for docker images, where one can just bump the version tag on the base image.

        Running a core server, virtual or directly on the machine as I do for my hyper-v and windows docker hosts, are a lot of work when having to upgrade every 6 months ...

        Hi,

        If I may add, there should not be "methods" to upgrade, but this should just follow the same way as Windows 10 : an available upgrade package than can be easily deployed through WSUS or similar.

        This is what I expected when I started moving to core versions...
