Windows 2016 - Scheduled Task Access for non-admin Domain users
In Windows server 2016 we are unable to provide access on scheduled tasks for non-admin domain users. This is doable in windows 2012 by adding the permissions to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks folder but it is not working in windows 2016.
Is this a know issue/bug with windows 2016 ?
Thank You In Advance

We can have a non-admin user create a task, but they can really only use their own account to run their task (their account has to have logon a batch privs). They can not share a task with another non-admin user. Only and Administrator can see the task that others have created. The Scheduler service seems to be using SD keys in the registry task cache to secure task, rather than the ACL entries on the Windows\System32\Task folders etc. Its necessary for some users to share tasks that they have shared responsibility to manage without giving them full admin rights on the box.
Found the same. Is this a confirmed issue?
