General Feedback
Do you have an idea or suggestion based on your experience with Windows Server? We would love to hear it! Please take a few minutes to submit your idea in the one of the forums available on the right or vote up an idea submitted by another Windows Server customer. All of the feedback you share in these forums is monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft engineering teams responsible for building Windows Server. Suggestions can apply to both released and Technical Preview versions of Windows Server.
Important:
1. Remote Desktop Services (RDS)-related feedback must be provided in their UV site: https://remotedesktop.uservoice.com/forums/266795-remote-desktop-services-for-enterprises
2. Requests for feature changes around the end-user experience, such as desktop shell, start menu, individual consumer apps, etc. must be provided through the Windows 10 Feedback Hub tool. We have no ownership of these types of non-Windows Server components.
3. This forum (General Feedback) is used for any broad feedback related to Windows Server. Feedback for specific areas like Storage, Networking, Virtualization, Nano Server, etc., should be provided in one of the forums available on the right. It is not for bug filings. If you find a bug with Windows Server please open a support case at https://support.microsoft.com and report it – these cases are free.

Windows Admin Center - Tree Structure
Windows Admin Center allows you to add connections or import from text files, but when you have a large number of servers to manage it is messy, and adding Tags and being able to search by them only goes so far. Being able to organize items in a tree structure like every over Windows module (ADUC, DSSITe, ADAC, etc) would make it a lot more user-friendly.

Create Different Icon Sizes
Dear Microsoft,
Would it be possible to include a feature which automatically changes the icon size of documents on the Windows desktop, or possibly throughout all of Windows?
This feature would increase or decrease the size of icons based on usage. For example, a file that hasn’t been accessed in six months would gradually increase/decrease in size, while a file that’s used every day would do the opposite. Preferable with customizable options such as time frames, increasing or decreasing size, ect.
This would allow a quick visual detection of which files are being used more frequently.
Thanking you in advance,

ADFS MFA Password Change
ADFS allows for the end user to change their password Externally if a specific end point is enabled on the ADFS Server. I'd like the ability to protect ADFS Password changes via ADFS to be protected by MFA. If a users credentials are compromised, the hacker could change the password on the employee as they know their "current" password.

Make ADFS OAuth2 Logout More Secure and Practical
Server2016/ADFS 4.0 - OAuth2 Logout endpoint requires idtokenhint before it redirects a user back to the RP. This is good however the value used for the idtokenhint is original id_token issued at the time of sign in. This is not good for few reasons:
In a server-side app, idtoken is used at the time of sign-in and claims are issued from the idtoken which gets saved to the session cookie. After the sign-in step, there's no use for the original idtoken. Now with idtoken being required for the Logout request, we have…

Suggest to include the ability to record action the user makes on any Windows application (audio/visual) and be able to share with others
make it possible to record (audio/visual) screen content and share via other windows apps to others. Example; Click on record (visual/audio) button whatever content is on screen and add audio, then send e-ail with content to other user/s.

Hyper-V Manager, can't turn off crashed VM while it's in Shutting Down state. Need to kill the process.
Hello,
While working with Hyper-V Manager and hosting some VM's. While the VM crashes or it's frozen and you try to softly Shut it down. It's stays in this state for long time, and you can't do anything else. Nor interrupt shutting down or Turn the power off. There could be some way to force the Turn Off task while it's frozen.

Include a MODERN web browser e.g. LTSB Edge browser rather than outdated, unsupported IE11.
It's kind of lame to promote Win2k16 RDSH then not include a modern web browser. Make an LTSB Edge browser, it can't be THAT difficult.

Bitlocker MFA unlock
This days MFA is getting more and more popular so I was wondering why not add new feature to Windows family so when server boots Bitlocker could be unlocked not by network but by MFA
What do you think would this be even possible ?13 votes -
SMTP Virtual Server in Server 2016 Core and Nano
2016 Server Core and Nano don't have the ability to add-windowsfeature smtp-server. I feel the SMTP feature would lend itself well to the lightweight nature of Core and Nano.

Ink And Handwriting Services
Noticed that in Windows Server 2016 TP5 with latest cumulative update (KB3158987) Ink And Handwriting Services feature is missing:
Get-WindowsFeature | Where-Object {$_.Name -like 'ink'}
returns no results... Looking at the files on the disk drive (C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ink) it seem that feature is actually installed. Some applications which relay on this feature fail during installation/instantiation since they determine feature is not installed. There was not mention in the release notes of the TP4 and TP5 in which this feature is no longer present (it was still present in TP3). Please fix this or suggest a workaround.8 votes -
System cCnter Unified agent, as instalable Windows Server feature..
Unify All the System Center Agents (virtual machine manager, SCOM, etc) in one solution (for example: SC unified Agent) .Integrate the System Center Agent as a Windows Server Feature (like .Net, BITS and the like).

Enable Scheduled Jobs/Tasks in Task Scheduler to Run at Log off
Enable Scheduled Jobs/Tasks in Task Scheduler to Run at Log off. Presently due to updates on Server 2008 and higher, against security risk, a scheduled task does not run when the user is logged off. Supposedly due to a "Session 0 Isolation" from the updates.

Wrong Pg info displayed in MS Word.
Ever since I’ve moved to the Skip Ahead builds (10.0.18214.1000 & the earlier one), MS-Word is reporting incorrect page # for the doc.
Here in page # reflected for Current & Total pages is incorrect.
