Can Windows Storage Server Migration Cutover feature move a Domain Controller?
The New Windows Storage Server Migration Service has a Cutover feature. It will move the network name and address of the old server to the new server. Can this also move a server that is a Domain Controller?
This is due to the fact that the cutover feature has to disjoin the domain in order to rename the computer. However, you can use Storage Migration Service to transfer any shares from the DC, but will have to do a manual cutover of the DC's network settings.
No it will not support the domain controller for the cutover stage.
