Storage Migration Service: Allow upgrading from NTFS to ReFS
Make it possible to have different file systems between source and destination servers. So we can easily upgrade file shares to run on ReFS instead of NTFS.

Storage Migration Service: Allow upgrading from NTFS to ReFS?
Yes of course. What do you think?
At the moment I have created a symlink (mklink) on c: which refers to the target directory (same name) on ReFS-Drive (incl. DeDup).
I also do this to merge more source drives on the target drive.
I don't know why they are obviously not considered. I want the tool which use M$.
Because this tool is soo slow (1 day only for the scan) and 3 days for a transfer run, aditional Runs are not faster.
I think it's a shame that Robocopy can no longer be used, so I installed the migration tool on the target server to do 2 jobs at the same time to save time (i hope so).
NEED for Speed
I still don't know how to explain to users that the FileServer should wait 3 days for the migration

Awwww come on. Of all the people migrating from 2008 that's on NTFS they won't be able to utilize ReFS?

Really frustrating... one of the big reasons why we want to migrate our file server is to migrate from NTFS to REFS w/ dedupe in Server 2019. The fact they didn't think about it this is dumbfounding.
