Bring Nano Server Recovery Console to Server Core
I’d like to propose bringing the Recovery Console interface to Server Core. The logon interface is familiar and could take up the entire window that the one liner username prompt currently occupies, and the post-logon console is simple and effective, and would be very useful for staff doing basic connectivity troubleshooting before determining if escalating up to the another team is required.
As seen a the below link, the logon prompt is more familiar and the main console provides a nice system summary and network & firewall options.
Probably obvious, but I’d also request an additional menu option above the Networking entry for “PowerShell” to drop into a shell (or Command Prompt if that stays the go forward plan) as the default menu option. That way those that don’t need to use it, can just immediately hit Enter after logging in to drop into the console.

@Anonymous Yes, however sconfig has been deprecated: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/get-started/deprecated-features
