  1. Configure Nested Resiliency for 2-Node S2D Configurations with Windows Admin Center

2-Node S2D Configurations support Nested Resiliency. Today in Windows Admin Center you can only configure 2-Way Mirror for 2-Node Clusters - even if the Storage Tiers or nested Resiliency have been created. Please add the Feature to configure Nested Mirror and Nested Mirror accelerated Parity for 2-Node S2D Configurations in Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and later. For sure also (but not only) for Azure Stack HCI.

  3. When will Single sign-on work in Windows Admin Center ?

WAC is a browser-based tool. It requires a WEB login each time you launch it. It does not use the credentials of the currently logged-in user. And each time you switch from a machine to another, you'll have to re-enter credentials again.

Please provide a working SSO system, so that we do not have to re-type our password several times an hour.

As already said, WAC is an admin tool. It must be "click and go". We definitely don't have time to administer the admin tool, and to understand why SSO does not work.

As said hundreds of times :…

  4. Upgrading to v2301 Breaks Azure logins unless local admin

I just upgraded from 2009 to 2301 in a gateway setup server 2019 and I get an unauthorized messaged when trying to go to the web interface.

If my user is a member of the local administrators then I can login or if I disable Azure logins then it works as expected.

  8. Windows Admin Center Active Directory should not require Domain Admin Rights

The Active Directory WAC extension should be able to be run by users who do not have domain admin rights, common examples are helpdesk, role managers, and other users with delegated rights to active directory but not full blown DA. DA is such an audited group now that we cannot use WAC active directory at all for 80% of tasks because it requires domain admin.

  9. [Bug] error events after adding a server which is also WAC gateway

    Version 2103 Build 1.3.2103.01006

As soon as I add a server which happens to be the WAC to my connection list I am getting following error whenever I open WAC or refresh the webpage.

Error: Connecting to remote server localhost failed with the following error message :
The server certificate on the destination computer (localhost:5986) has the following errors:
The SSL certificate contains a common name (CN) that does not match the hostname.
For more information, see the aboutRemoteTroubleshooting Help topic.

It looks like it uses the localhost instead of it's real servername while trying to connect.

  10. Dashboard start page

Allow IT admins create dashboard with select services, usage, status, etc on a page who grouped all the servers.

It will help IT admin to have a quick glance on what´s going on the domain.

  11. DHCP lease list should show client name

The DHCP lease list doesn't show the client name. This makes it very difficult to reconcile which clients have which addresses. The description field is commonly blank so it's a waste of time having this.

It's a pity that you can't choose which columns to display.

  12. Allow saving Usernames

I know that it is a bad idea to store passwords inside WAC or even the user session, but it would be a huge improvement when we could at least store the usernames.
Managing different servers with different users is a pain when I have to copy / paste username and password every day in the morning.

  13. Improve draining status

Can we have only one page for Node with live migration information that includes:
    1-Nodes
2-The amount of VM in each node without having to change tabs
3- make the links for the VM Hyper-v hosts Live so we can click and open the nodes

  14. FEATURE REQUEST - WAC 2012 preview - Network - NetAdapter-AdvancedProperties

Affected build: Windows Admin Center 2012 Preview Build 1.3.2012.11003
    Plugin name: Networks
    plugin version: 1.95.0
    severity: -
    reproducible: x out of 5
    easy to fix: -

please implement a tab on Network > Adapter > Settings
    showing and configuring the following:

    NetAdapter-AdvancedProperties

Reason: unlike GUI servers where one can check the settings like RSS, RSC, Offloading Features, NUMA etc in Server Core it is not very handy.

Please also include a brief overview of some features being enabled (or configuration issues) like

    • RDMA (iwarp / RoCE)

    • RSS

    • RSC

    • SR/IOV
      etc.

It can be crucial to have a good overview on…

  16. Automatic tagging in Windows Admin Center

Some configurable function to automate tagging. Would be great when Hyper-V virtual machines automatically receive a tag with the Hyper-V server they run on.

  17. Remote Desktop Only Targets

We have multiple domains that are not trusted. It would be helpful to add RDP only machines so that we can still keep them in our lists and access them easily.

  18. [Roles and Features] Why can't you take the server manager roles & feature install/Removal and add it to WAC ???

    BASIC of Server Manager:

Why can't you take the server manager roles & feature install/Removal and add it to WAC ???

Windows Server is about ROLES & FEATURES,
putting the binaries for a role on a server without configuring it is useless. Every role & feature on win server has a few configs that is needed to be completely install, Microsoft known these configs & can ask for them upfront, so WHY ?????

  19. Stop changing login credentials

Sane admins aren't running with a user account with high privileges at all times. Thus we need to use WAC with different credentials. Yet every time we open it up it defaults to our logged-in credentials and you have to re-do the same steps over and over and over again to change to credentials.

This has been ongoing for the entire life of this product. I would think this can get fixed without thousands of hours of effort needed. It's by far the biggest frustration with using WAC to me. Please fix this dumb issue finally

  20. The ability to update multiple extensions at once

Would be great if there was a tick box so you could select more than one extension at a time to update. Seems really time consuming to update one extension, then go back and do the next, then the next. When there are a number of updates, this sort of unnecessary repetitive process can kill 15 mins..
