I have already known the solutionIds for server and windows client by reading the example extension template. But what are the solutionIds and connectionTypes for failover and hyper-converged cluster ? I need to know to fulfill in the manifest.json file.1 vote
"Appareils" means "devices" as in standalone ones. The proper translation for Devices as in Device Manager is "Matériel" or "Périphériques" (hardware or Peripherals).1 vote
You’ll see this change in the next release of Windows Admin Center.
Admin Center error "Unable to create 'SDDC Management" cluster resource'
All Servers are build 14393.2214 GERMAN
Server logs error:
PowerShell-Cmdlet "Add-ClusterResource" für Failovercluster: Fehler beim Öffnen der Clusterrolle "Cluster Group".
So this may be a language issue...
How can I create the resource manually?1 vote
This is fixed in Windows Admin Center Preview v1806.
In v1804, this workaround should resolve the issue:
Run Add-ClusterResource -Name ‘SDDC Management’ -Group ‘Cluster Group’ -ResourceType ‘SDDC Management’ replacing ‘Cluster Group’ with the localized name, for example, ‘Group du cluster’ in French.
The file path in Files has spaces between the \ and the folders. When copying and pasting, you need to delete all of the spaces.1 vote
This is now supported in the latest Preview release. You can get this at https://aka.ms/wac1908. Thanks for the feedback!

[Bug] [PowerShell] Windows Admin Center - The Powershell Tool fails when the HOMEPATH leaf contains a space.
I can connect to a Windows 10 workstation where the user's HOMEPATH leaf contains a space (\User\Super Computer). When the Powershell Tool is selected and the password is entered at the prompt the following error is returned;
Connection error! A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'System.Object'
[Session End: click 'Connect' to reconnect.]
Connection to other users and using the PowerShell tool works as expected.1 vote
When I access Windows Admin Center UI at first time, the displayed tutorial including "管理の構築にご協力ください".
The better Japanese is "Windows Admin Center の開発にご協力ください" or "ご協力ください" (remove "管理の構築").1 vote
connecting a Honolulu gateway to Azure should be one click, but today it's complex workflow - click on Azure in settings, discover it's not connected, guess for a while, look in the section about how you log in and see there's an option to connect Azure, click to connect Azure, read the instructions, download the script, unzip the script, read the script, find the two modules you need to load, load the modules (optionally discover you have an incompatible version of the modules loaded and figure out how to force a refresh), run the script, change the radio button, refresh the browser tab). that is very much not one click ;) even the 'try Azure now button' doesn't take you back to the setup flow once you have the Azure account, so you add an extra step. yes, anyone who runs a server should be able to do all that but for a small business who's thinking 'maybe I can do this and get the better security they talk about from Server Core without desktop' it's not point and click, it's futz around and become confused

Updated in Windows Admin Center Preview v1806
Currently, the buttons in the navigation section of Honolulu are not all labeled in such a way that a user of a screen reader would be able to figure out what they do. Please add meaningful text labels to these buttons in conformance with W3C WCAG 2.0 AA success criteria.1 vote
I would like to be able to write custom pages to add support for some 3rd party applications I run.1 vote
The Windows Admin Center SDK is now generally available.

I must say that this Honolulu project is the best idea that Microsoft had in decades. I wish to you a great success in completintg this wonderfull jorney and I hope that in some 5 to 7 years we'll have tool that is better than IDEAL Administration.1 vote
We need the ability to rescan drives through the GUI.
Scenario: I add 5 GB to a drive in the hypervisor management. I go to extend a particular volume in Honolulu for that particular server. I can't do that because it doesn't recognize the additional space.
I would run "rescan" in diskpart to force the system to recognize the space, but that isn't available in Honolulu yet.
Could we add it?1 vote
There is a refresh button on the top right, between the total count of rows and the search box.
A simple way to see which VMs are currently residing on which hypervisors. Right now there's no simple way to track this visually without making a complex script.1 vote
This is in the product in two places.
1) Virtual Machines > inventory tab > see “Host Server” column
2) after drilling down to individual VM from inventory list, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Server tab in the Details section.
I want to use Gateway for Project Honolulu.
For security reason.
I don't want to open any TCP/UDP port except the system need,
include ports for Project Honolulu.
Each servers connect to Gateway PC,
and Project Honolulu connect to Gateway PC for connecting each servers.
and Each servers does NOT allow inbound connection without system need.1 vote
Honolulu is designed to function like this. Please see the deployment guide: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/manage/honolulu/honolulu#deployment-options

FIXED. From Private Preview user feedback.1 vote
It would be nice if we could browse and modify files via a UNC path. Our file server is basicly a big NAS (Isilon) so this functionnality would be really nice to have.0 votes
This is now supported in the latest Preview release which you can download from here: https://aka.ms/wac1908. Please give it a try and let us know if you have additional feedback!
