  1. [Deployment] Allow Windows Admin Center to be configured one time for all your admins

Allow Windows Admin Center to be configured one time for all your admins. I find it hard to believe that every admin at a business will need to config this product separately. Why not have a admin group that can see all and have one person doing all the config work.....

With support for shared connections and management of connections and Extensions with PowerShell, we are going to mark this as complete.

If you have a more specific feature that would help you configure Windows Admin Center one time for all your admins, please create new suggestions.

    Read more about shared connections:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/manage/windows-admin-center/configure/shared-connections

Read more about managing your connection list with PowerShell:

  2. [Bug] [Updates] Multiple updates installation takes no effect.

    WAC 1906 preview
    Server Management
    module/tab: Updates
    Function Install-WindowsUpdates

Multiple updates installation takes no effect.
    Single update installation works.

In case of multiple selection of updates, the powershell "Install-WindowsUpdates" function, passes the parameter $updateIDs as single string to $Script.
In efect, during execution of $Script - Install-Updates.ps1 line with check:
    If($Update.Identity.UpdateID -in $updateIDs)
always fail and updates are not installed.

WAC installed as gateway on Windows Server 2016 (OS Build 14393.2969) - connected to domain
    WAC version 1906 preview
Acces to WAC from Windows 10 1803 build 17134.829
    Browser: Edge

  5. .iso files Should be allowed when creating new VM

In the "New virtual machine" pane, the "Operating system" section, check the "Install an operating system from an image file (.iso)" then enter a path to an ISO file.
You get a red error message "(!) .ISO files are not allowed"
This is, by all means, a bug.
    Please fix.

  7. [WinRM] [Configuration] Use WinRM over SSL, port 5986 to connect to remote servers

Use WinRM over SSL, port 5986 to connect to remote servers.
I have deployed certificates and configured WinRM over SSL on all my servers and was planning to use WAC but it seems it can only connect using HTTP/5985 which is really disappointing.

  8. [ui] add PowerShell hints to the various user interfaces

Since all of the Honolulu output is based on WMI and CIM calls executed through PowerShell, it would be useful to have a link in the right hand pane (perhaps the details pane) that will expose what commands were issued to gather the displayed information. This supports PowerShell's goal of ease of learning and discoverability. You use Honolulu to execute one management task against one machine, learn the PowerShell, and you can execute the same task against as many machines as you want.

  9. [Bug] [Virtual Machines] VHD files case sensitivity

File extension validation is case sensitive. Install Hyper-V Management.

Tools -> Virtual Machines -> Inventory -> New

    Set up new parameters

Add Disk -> Use an existing virtual hard disk

Give a virtual hard disk with a .VHDX extension, there is an error saying that .VHDX files are not allowed.

Rename the VHD file from a .VHDX extension to a .vhdx extension. The file can now be used as an existing disk for the VM.

  12. Font rendering: Non-Latin scripts are rendered poorly

Windows Admin Center renders text using the Segoe UI font. This font is beautiful and rich. It can render a number of scripts including Hebrew, Arabic and Greek. However, for some reason, in Windows Admin Center, only Latin-based scripts are rendered using the Segoe UI font. Other scripts like Arabic, Hebrew and Greek fall back to "Helvetica". As a result, managing files with non-English characters in the file manager of Windows Admin Center is a harrowing experience.

  13. [Bug][Files]Quota management

    In this page:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/it-it/windows-server/manage/windows-admin-center/use/manage-servers#span-data-ttu-id08651-253filespanspan-classsxs-lookupspan-data-stu-id08651-253filesspanspan

quota management is listed as a feature of the Files panel.
However, at least in WAC version 1809.5, I'm not able to access the quota management feature from "Files".
    Where is it?

    Cheers

    Marco

  17. [Virtual Machines] Add the Hyper-V VM console to WAC, in addition to RDP

Please add the VM console, Virtual Machine Connection console, as seen when using the Hyper-V console. Currently, when you "connect" to a VM in WAC, an RDP connection is created. RDP is ok, but the virtual machine connection console should be an option. Please avoid adding the Virtual machine viewer as seen in VMM 2012/2016 as it has limited features compared to the full blown VMC from the Hyper-V console.

In the Virtual Machines tool (both for Server connections and Cluster connections), you can select a VM and choose “Connect” which will use VM Connect through the Hyper-V host in your web browser, or choose “Download RDP File” which will download the .RDP file to open in Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc.exe). This is a special type of .RDP file which actually uses VM Connect to the Hyper-V host, not RDP directly to the VM. If there is anything missing for VM Connect scenarios or specific reasons for needing the VM console, please submit as a separate feature request.

  18. [Connection list] Possibility to have predefined connections

It would be great if the administrator can add predefined connections (maybe with predefined credentials), so that all users accessing the Honolulu console will see all connections.

Use case: We have 300+ servers to manage, it would be great if we can have them predefined in Honolulu for the whole operations team.

  19. [Chrome Browser] Admin Center Security issue: clicking "Sign in" when prompted allows login without entering input

While using Google Chrome 69.0.3497.100. Clicking “Sign in” on the login prompt without entering anything allows anyone log into the Admin Center as “NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON”

Admin Center is installed on Server 2016 in the same domain as the client computer accessing it.

Can this security hole please be fixed?

Edge does not have this issue.

I verified that these settings are set correctly to prevent anonymous logins on the server:
Network access: Allow anonymous SID/Name translation
Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts
Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares
