[Connection list] Server Description Column on the "All Connections" page.
A Server "Description" column on the "All Connections" page that is centrally managed within an organization so that an admin could give description text for each server within an organization.
Since descriptions can take up a lot of column space, consider showing an "i" icon for each entry in the column (that has a description). When a user clicks on an icon next to that server, they will see the server's description in a SharePoint style callout popup or slide-out.
A server description field in WAC is sorely lacking.
With less than human friendly server names and big environments, tags will not suffice to separate all the services and applications ran by many organizations. Only broad categories like virtual, environment, type of server etc.
Please consider connecting the Description field to AD and/or allowing manual input of Description when importing servers. Workgroup server description would need to be manually added.
Yes, please add this. Our server names are not human readable, and the tags would not give us enough information as we run hundreds of services and applications on a few thousand servers. We need tags for the broad category separation and description for the detailed view.
Description field is an absolute must (linked with AD objects as an option). We use the AD Description field for all our practical info for servers. Tags are not sufficient. We need some way to import company specific descriptions to WAC.Before that day it's almost useless, with the exception of running scripts on all WAC instances and translating descriptions into tags. But even that is messy at best, and not as sortable and searchable as a good description field.

I would prefer an option to read the "comment" AD property from the computer object. This would be great and probably simple approach. Or if one edits the comment it will write back to this AD Property
One additional colum beside the host Name for a description, note ...
Please create an editable field in the server overview tool to set the computer description on the server vs in AD. I couldn't find a computer description field in WAC version 1904. This necessitated logging on to a number of server core systems and using the
Net config server /srvcomment:" your description here"

Description field in overview (editable) would be really handy. Export to excel/pdf (list/parameter based) would be a really cool feature.
We have a description in AD for every server, it would be great to see that reflected in WAC

We've got a bunch of computers on the network with names like 'desktop-g259hcg' and I have no idea which computer belongs to whom. Adding the computer description field to the Overview section would allow me to add a description to determine the role of the pc
Absolutely need this! And should be easy enough to do. Grouping would also be great

In the computer connection, create a column that is editable so we can either integrate the user from SCCM or manually type in the name of the owner of that particular workstation.
This would allow help desk personnel to easily filter through machines based on owner/user of the machine for a quicker response to issues.

An alias to the server name will be a must for my goldfisk memory in the column next to the server name. And a description column as explained by Glen

Home 'Overview' List of servers should have another column for NOTES

On the Home/Overview page I see all servers I added.
Companys as mine , use generic server names.
It would be great if I had the chance to give those servers a "Display Name" besides the FQDN/Host Name.
This would greatly improve usability.

The computer description should be displayed on server manager list of computers. With a big amount of servers it's not possible to remember all server numbers.
Grouping of servers would also be great (Exchange, Lync, DCs, ...)
