  2. [HCI] [S2D] View S2D Cache Performance

It could be interresting to have cache statistique in performance view.
    For example
    % of read in cache
    % of direct read/write
Volume of read and write data in cahce ...

  3. Create Cluster Wizard in Windows Admin Center for S2D on Windows Server 2019 and later

Actually we can configure S2D via Windows Admin Center on Azure Stack HCI based solutions it should also be possible to configure S2D Clusters based on Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and later.

  4. Nested Virtualization Azure Stack HCI install

Allow installation of the Azure Stack HCI (20H2) nodes on nested virtualization for lab/demo purposes. The AS HCI OS seems to block install of the Hyper-V feature via WAC

  6. [HCI] Please extend support for Hyper-Converged Cluster Management in Project Honolulu to Windows Server 2016 RTM

Actually the Hyper-Converged Cluster Management actually can only manage Windows Servers based on actual Windows Server technical preview please can you extend the Hyper-Converged Cluster Management capability to S2D Configurations based on Windows Server 2016 RTM.

  8. HCI Cluster shows 50% memory used error on all nodes

HCI Cluster shows 50% memory used error on all nodes but the thresholds can't be changed
nor isn't it unexpected on an HCI Cluster with S2D and HV

Hyper-V Vms takes a lot of RAM and the S2D Cache too...

  9. [S2D] Azure HCI, add information re Storage Pool rebuild

When you need to add disks / nodes to a S2D cluster you can use get-storagejob to view minimal information about rebuild timelines.
It would be nice to add similar but better more in depth into WAC.
Also why is there no Pool information displayed in WAC ?

  10. Configure Nested Resiliency for 2-Node S2D Configurations with Windows Admin Center

2-Node S2D Configurations support Nested Resiliency. Today in Windows Admin Center you can only configure 2-Way Mirror for 2-Node Clusters - even if the Storage Tiers or nested Resiliency have been created. Please add the Feature to configure Nested Mirror and Nested Mirror accelerated Parity for 2-Node S2D Configurations in Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and later. For sure also (but not only) for Azure Stack HCI.

  11. [HCI] Don't round IOPS counters to nearest integer; display 1-2 decimals points

When you're dealing with "IOPS in the Millions", rounding up to an integer really skews performance views.

Example - hitting 1.6 million IOPS rounds to 2M IOPS in WAC. That 400,000 IOP rounding error is HUGE. If you at least do 1 or 2 decimal points, the problem fixes itself :)

  13. [Cluster Creation] Allow creation / management of HCI clusters WITHOUT Azure subscription

The 2007 version allows creation and management of hyper-converged (HCI) clusters. But this works only for "AzureStack HCI" clusters. This is a specific version of Windows Server 2019, with mandatory subscription to Azure services, and with specific licensing.

I want to install and manage an hyper-converged cluster on premise, in my data center, with absolutely no link with Azure services, and with classic (SPLA) licensing model. I can not do that.

Please do not use Windows Admin Center as a way to force people to buy your online services ! Please provide admin tools for everybody.

  16. [HCI] Ability to expand MAP volumes in Storage Spaces Direct in Windows Admin Center

Ability to expand MAP (Mirror Accelerated Parity) volumes in an HCI cluster in Windows Admin Center. There is a mirror and parity volume associated with each disk volume with the current ratio (or can tweak it) when expanding.

  17. [Bug] WAC version 2009 won't find any Azure Stack HCI machines

In WAC 1.2.2009.21002, running on Windows Server 2019, when using the Create Cluster wizard, it won't find any Azure Stack HCI machines. Regardless if they are domain-joined or workgroup servers. The nodes are up and running, do have network connectivity, ping to other machines and vice versa.

On the contrary, WAC 1.2.2007.18002 running on Windows 10 finds them just fine.

In both WAC versions, Azure Stack HCI machines cannot be found in AD as Servers, but do appear as PCs.

  19. Fix SDN section in "Deploy an Azure Stack HCI cluster" Error Details.

URL for Deploy Azure Stack HCI cluster during "Deploy the Network Controller" errors out and the error details tell you to go to "https://aka.ms/wacsdn" which redirects to an internal Microsoft Sharepoint site that is not accessible to the public. "https://microsoft-my.sharepoint-df.com/personal/shsatheemicrosoftcom/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx"
