  5. [Connection List] Active Directory sync

Great would be if you can define multiple OUs to connect to, where the computer objects are situated. So not only an import more like a synchronisation, so that if there are new computers added the list is up to date. And a folder browsing that reflects the OUs with some additional views like "All Connections", "Favorite Connections" and "Recent Connections".

  7. [AD] Active Directory Users extension should allow search by additional fields.

[REQUEST] Active Directory Users extension should allow search by additional fields like username, email, phone, etc. Currently, it's limited to Display Name, for example, I can search for first or last name but not username. This should be improved.

  10. [Bug] Azure Active Directory stays greyed out

Unable to register with Azure Active Directory. After having entered the code and signed into Azure, it displays:

"You have signed in to the Windows Admin Center application on your device. You may now close this window."

In Admin Center it however doesn't proceed to step 3. "Connect to Azure Active Directory". The field is greyed out.

  11. Windows Admin Center Active Directory should not require Domain Admin Rights

The Active Directory WAC extension should be able to be run by users who do not have domain admin rights, common examples are helpdesk, role managers, and other users with delegated rights to active directory but not full blown DA. DA is such an audited group now that we cannot use WAC active directory at all for 80% of tasks because it requires domain admin.

  14. Windows Admin Center Gateway access

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/manage/windows-admin-center/configure/user-access-control#active-directory-or-local-machine-groups

Active Directory or local machine groups

By default, Active Directory or local machine groups are used to control gateway access. If you have an Active Directory domain, you can manage gateway user and administrator access from within the Windows Admin Center interface.

On the Users tab you can control who can access Windows Admin Center as a gateway user. By default, and if you don't specify a security group, any user that accesses the gateway URL has access. Once you add one or more security groups to the users list, access is restricted to the members of those groups.

  16. [Bug] [LAPS] "An operations error occurred" when trying to enable Manage As with LAPS

We have LAPS configured in our environment (Agent 6.2.0.0), and the Gateway Server runs WS2016 with CU Sept 2 2017 (OS Build 14939.1715). I am aware that there is a newer CU from Sept 28 that is not installed (KB4038801).

When checking the "Use Local Administrator Password Solution" and entering the correct Admin username, clicking "Continue" only shows the error:

Querying the Active Directory for local administrator password failed with the following error:An operations error occurred.
Please check your configuration. Note: If Honolulu is running on a server, you may have to setup delegation for the gateway server to be…

  20. Windows Admin Center Extensions cannot be installed using standard user Windows Session

Windows Admin Center installed on Windows 10 1909. Logged in with an account in Windows with standard user permissions. Right-click and run-as on Windows Admin Center and enter admin credentials. There is no process spawned running my admin credentials.

Launching Edge or Chromium Edge or Windows Admin Center with standard user credentials will launch the page just fine, but I receive an error trying to install any extensions for the Windows Admin Center with error message "Couldn't install the extension: 'Active Directory (Preview)'. Error: Access denied. Unable to perform requested operation. Administrative privilege is required."

    The old version of Edge…
