please implement a feature to remove devices this is very important. Especially on Server core

additionally give an option to remove the driver if possible (same as device manager MMC)

  4. [Devices] Hidden devices in device manager should not appear in Honolulu by default

Honolulu currently shows "hidden" devices in the "Devices" view (i.e. Device Manager). For an MPIO volume, you see the pseudo-LUN as well as the physical LUNs. In Windows device manager, hidden devices (e.g. MPIO physical LUNs) do not appear by default. You have to enable the option to show hidden devices.

I am requesting that hidden devices not appear by default in Honolulu Devices pane but that there also be an option to show hidden devices so that the user can view them if needed.

  5. [Multi-Machine] [Devices] Firmware/driver Updates

    Firmware/driver Updates
    * Provide the ability to update all firmware/drivers/BIOS on a fleet of servers at once (similar to Dell OME, Dell Command | Update, Lenovo System Update, etc.)

  6. [Devices] Add ability to show inactive devices / deactivate / activate / uninstall devices

    it should be possible to
    - deactivate devices
    - activate devices
    - remove devices - optionally with uninstalling drivers

there is no smooth powershell equivalent available according to Steve Lee from the Powershell team, so we might want to have some cmdlets and bring them into WAC, too

Get-Pnpdevices is all we have at the moment. That is unfortunate on Server Core in terms of issues with devices.

  7. [Devices]Programatically add servers through powershell

We use Virtual Machine Scale Sets in Azure, the elastic nature of scale sets means we would need to manually add and remove servers very often.

    Ideal situation:
A powershell command that our deployment environment can tell WAC to add a new server, with its applicable details.

A powershell command that our deployment environment can tell WAC to delete servers that have been scaled back (destroyed)

  8. [Feature request] Honolulu web UI should be available over IPv6

Bind the Honolulu web UI to IPv6

Current the Honolulu web UI is only bound to IPv4. It's therefore not possible to access it, and manage servers from IPv6 only systems.

  11. FEATURE REQUEST - WAC 2012 preview - Devices - Remove (all) removed / stale devices

Affected build: Windows Admin Center 2012 Preview Build 1.3.2012.11003
    Plugin name: Devices
    plugin version: 1.81.0
    severity: -
    reproducible: x out of 5
    easy to fix: -

please implement a feature to optionally remove all removed devices

    usecase: Hardware changes

stale devices can cause issues, especially with CUs or IPUs

Of course this option should not blindly remove all of them some are "disconnected" by default.

I always wished this feature would exist in Device Manager MMC but since Jeff confirmed several times there will not be new features in GUI, I doubt this will come to Windows Server or Client…

  13. [Connections] ability to customize the columns and see more information at a glance

I would like to be able to add more columns to see more details about my Servers or Workstations. For example, Operating system would be handy and version of WMF running. IP address could be handy. Also, it would be nice to know which devices are online or offline.

  14. I would like to be able to perform RMM on Windows 10 devices which are AAD joined

There is an option to add Windows 10 PCs in WAC, but that does not function for AAD joined devices.

It would be very helpful to be able to perform RMM on AAD joined devices using the multitude of tools already available in WAC. Especially for Cloud only customer who do not have a local domain.

  15. [Bug] [Loc] French Translation error in side Panel "Appareils" is wrong

"Appareils" means "devices" as in standalone ones. The proper translation for Devices as in Device Manager is "Matériel" or "Périphériques" (hardware or Peripherals).

  16. [Azure Registration] Register with Azure Government.

In Windows Admin Center -> Settings, under Gateway, Azure there does not appear to be a way to Register with Azure Government. Not sure if you can register with any sovereign cloud. When using my MAG credentials I get AADSTS50011: The reply url specified in the request does not match the reply urls configured for the application.

  18. [New tool] TCP/IP host scanner.

This tool needs a TCP/IP host scanner built into it. Way to many steps to add a host with of coarse host account request as part of it so you can skip none host based devices such as NAS and switches.

  19. Remote Site Management with remote IT Admins

A way to have other IT site techs manage the servers at the site and only have the ability to only see devices that is added to the group. Currently there is no way to perform that action, but I would like to have the ability to add a group and security to that group so whoever is in that group can see the devices that is in that group and what options they are able to perform within that group, for example, they are able to check the stats on the server, perform a reboot, but not the ability…

  20. [Connection list] Dynamic Connections - not saved

Loving Admin Center thus far. Especially love the integrated PowerShell remoting and RDP, but would love to have the ability to dynamically connect to 1-off systems as needed for support purposes. Having a list of saved connections is convenient for server groups, or small networks, but not ideal for large networks with thousands of systems. Would love the ability to connect dynamically without having to save extra connections. I can imagine this was not the forethought of this product, but would be an ideal tool for day-to-day administration and support for endpoint devices.
