[Files] Improvements on Files module
- I'd like to be able to select multiple files/folders for actions like delete/download
- I'd like to to be able to see the properties of a folder (or more if many are selected), specifically the total size
- I'd like to be able to see the NTFS permissions of a file or folder. It would be good if we could change the permissions as well.

[Files] Drive Free space and Total Directory size
Estimate directory size in Files tool. The column is already present but istead of "-" the progress and then estimation of directory total disk space used by that directory. I know its a huge work but it will be extremly useful. Calculation can be requested by the user clicking on a function that start the job. Also very important is to have a quick overview of total/free disk space when listing for system drives in the 'This PC' section.

[Files] - Visual representation of Free Space
Using traditional RDP & Explorer you get a visual representation of the free space of a drive which is something I have grown very fond of. Currently you need to compare the free space with the total space to get a rough gauge in your head what percentage is actually free. I would suggest either removing the free space column and replacing it with a graph similar to what we see in explorer now, or at the very minimum add a (%) value for each free space entry so we can easily see oh its only 1% or 15% or…

.iso files Should be allowed when creating new VM
In the "New virtual machine" pane, the "Operating system" section, check the "Install an operating system from an image file (.iso)" then enter a path to an ISO file.
You get a red error message "(!) .ISO files are not allowed"
This is, by all means, a bug.

[Files] Add ACL editor to WAC File Browser
The "Properties" submenu of folders and files in the File Browser feature is painfully sparse compared to its oldschool counterparts in Explorer.
Can we get a NT file permissions editor and ability to view effective access?

Copy Folders & Drag and Drop
It would be great if the file manager in windows admin center supported uploading folders and not simply files. Also it would be really nice if you could simply drag and drop files and folders from you pc into the file browser in Windows Admin Center to upload them.

[Bug][Files]Quota management
quota management is listed as a feature of the Files panel.
However, at least in WAC version 1809.5, I'm not able to access the quota management feature from "Files".
Where is it?Cheers
Marco
3 votesIf you have the feature installed, you can manage the quota on the Volumes tab of the storage tool. If the feature is not installed, you can install it from here as well, but it will require a reboot before you can manage.

HTTP Compression
We noticed WAC is very quick over the LAN, but nearly unusable over VPN. Watching the size and amount of files being transferred, wouldnt some HTTP compression help this? Do not see a way to enable, but thinking this may help performance when this amount of large files are transferred (manifest.json, etc.)

[Bug] [Virtual Machines] VHD files case sensitivity
File extension validation is case sensitive. Install Hyper-V Management.
Tools -> Virtual Machines -> Inventory -> New
Set up new parameters
Add Disk -> Use an existing virtual hard disk
Give a virtual hard disk with a .VHDX extension, there is an error saying that .VHDX files are not allowed.
Rename the VHD file from a .VHDX extension to a .vhdx extension. The file can now be used as an existing disk for the VM.

[Deployment] Allow Windows Admin Center to be configured one time for all your admins
Allow Windows Admin Center to be configured one time for all your admins. I find it hard to believe that every admin at a business will need to config this product separately. Why not have a admin group that can see all and have one person doing all the config work.....
405 votesWith support for shared connections and management of connections and Extensions with PowerShell, we are going to mark this as complete.
If you have a more specific feature that would help you configure Windows Admin Center one time for all your admins, please create new suggestions.
