How can we improve the installation and patching of Windows Server?

URGENT: Seperate Category for Preview Update Rollups needed!

Actually it is not really possible to use automatic acknowledgement rules without acknowledgeing any Preview security or preview feature upates for Windows 7, 8.1 etc.

Please put them a seperate WSUS Category e.g. preview rollups so that an effective testing can be made with rulesets and a test group of computers.

This is ********. Add the new category. Its not that hard. You have a category for everything else under the sun e.g. Languages.

There is still no change @MSFTs we aren't going to sit that out till 2020 when all affected OSes are unsupported, are we?

The ability to exclude preview updates directly in WSUS would be greatly appreciated. The system the way it is designed now breaks business production systems.

Its a huge pain not to have a separate "Preview Update" category to easily exclude Preview Updates from the automatic approval rules.

I can still confirm that preview updates will be rolled out via WSUS if the category "Updates" is auto-acknowledged. This is a bad design, as this category does contain other more critical updates too.
