Windows Server 2016: Option to change from Core to Gui (and vice-versa) without reinstalation
Please, let us change from core to GUI (and vice-versa) only adding/removing features from Winfows.

@John Wildes No you cant switch from 2016 server to 2016 server with deskto (core to gui) the SxS on server(core) is fully populated unlike 2012 core.
This is a step back to the 2008 era, and will lead to more GUI based installations, not less.

I use this in our current automation tools to deploy Windows Server builds and go from core to GUI so our engineers can very easily choose a version they need. If this is taken away it is going to cost us development time and break our automation. This automation was also to allow us to have less ISOs to save disk space and Windows update times. I also ask that it be kept the way that Windows 2012 R2 currently works, going from GUI to core and core to GUI. The support side it allows us to convert customers servers if they need to save resources or increase them without needing to rebuild the server.

The inability of being able to interchange between Server GUI and Server Core can make it difficult for support teams to efficiently diagnose issues without a GUI. This delay can impact on SLA and therefore increase risk to the customers.
The added flexibility can help with the uptake of Server Core, knowing that if a fault develops which requires thorough investigation the server can be changed to Server GUI.
While not a terrible idea... I don't understand why it's getting so much support. How are people using Windows Server to want this so strongly?
This Idea is inappropriate.

I think some clarification is necessary. You can switch from CORE To GUI now...are you asking for the SxS bits to be included in CORE default install so that you can install the GUI feature?
It should be kept as it is in win server 2012 r2.
I have used that feature quite a bit with 2012 R2 and would hate to see that option go away and have to go back to having to reinstall the server OS. I have applications that require a full GUI in order to install but once installed can run in core mode on 2012R2
