THis looks like a duplicate of https://windowsserver.uservoice.com/forums/295071-management-tools/suggestions/31688515--bug-vm-marked-not-clustered

I've also seen this behavior, except that all of my VM's show as not clustered.
This is a brand new cluster. The cluster is hyper-converged. The cluster was created from SCVMM 2014 Update 4. All cluster nodes are 2016 server core. about 1/2 the VM's were created via SCVMM. The other 1/2 were live migrated from a non-clustered host onto the cluster using SCVMM. In my case the 'inventory' tab shows all VM's as non-clustered, however if I click into the VM details then the clustered state is shown correctly.

I agree that this is a must have - after running dedup on all of my VM hosts I'm like a meth addict - I really really want to go to ReFS, but I just can't let go of dedup!
