Hi. This is known and expected, although not necessarily desired :). There is no remote UI for ADFS – it is only for local use and therefore not in RSAT. You will need to use PSH via WinRM remoting for remote management. I am looking for some docs to hand over on this from the ADFS team.

Hi. I am unable to reproduce this behavior with the FS-FileServer role's removal also removing Server Manager. Please share detailed repro steps.

That's a true statement, but I don't understand what you want changed via this feedback request. You would remove replication if truly gone. If you switch and the other server cannot be contacted, you are warned but can continue.

It's also worth noting that MS Itanium support ended 7 years ago, and that Intel shipped its last new Itanium processor 4 years ago. The product itself from Intel appears to be end of life.

Hi. This is more of a client concern, unless I am misunderstanding you. It wouldn't be normal to run Windows Server on a laptop, I mean - and this is a Windows Server feedback site, not a Windows feedback site :) . Do you agree with my thought?

This is not reproducible here (and we'd have heard about a general use failure in Notepad about an hour after TP5 released!). Please reproduce with a VM you build from an ISO and keep isolated from your domain/infrastructure - add no network or software to it. If it still reproduces let me know, we can talk about getting a dump.

Ink and Handwriting Services is now a default part of the operating system and no longer requires a separate package which would explain why you would not find the feature listed but you do see the files in the Program Files path.

Hi. Defender automatically excludes Hyper-V files and processing - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn913616.aspx - what part of the lab setup becomes slower, specifically? It's possible an exclusion was missed or a regression occurred in TP5, or you are talking about an unexcluded operation. It's not going to be removed, so we need to understand problems.

There is nothing strange or bad about servers running 3rd party security software, that has been a best practice for decades. We and third parties have made such software before (SCEP, FFA were ours).

Will watch for folks to add their voices to this.
In the meantime, if there is someone who wants to publish a user-contributed item to the PowerShell Gallery that does this, it would certainly be welcomed.

Perhaps worth noting: this is the primary selling point of AGPM. Have you explored it?

Howdy - this is already a feature offered by Microsoft, through the Advanced Group Policy Management tool. Take a look here:

Thanks for reporting this. The current design forces a blue screen intentionally when there is a problem with the unattend.xml format. This ensures that issues are seen by the administrator immediately, instead of the installation hanging indefinitely or the introduction of unintended configuration differences that would be very hard to detect or troubleshoot.

You can use free tools like Visual Studio Express and XML Notepad to ensure your XML is well-formed before deploying to Nano Server.

This is not a software feature request as I understand it. Please explain further.
